In addition to connecting CYD funders and community partners with organizations and practitioners doing the work in their communities, The Center for CYD provides fiscal sponsorship and operational support services for Creative Youth Development programs, projects, and field building collectives that align with The Center’s goals and values. Fiscal sponsorship at The Center allows small, impactful programs and collective action initiatives in San Diego to focus their mission-driven work by alleviating the burdens of financial management, administrative duties, and other infrastructure they would need if they were operating as independent nonprofit organizations.
